Product Description
Application Fluid bed is mainly used to granulate and dry granules in industries of pharmacy, foodstuff, chemicals and agricultural product processing. Some products are granules for tables, capsules, instant granules and flavoring granules. During production, the equipment loads material in an enclosed condition to avoid powder flying in operation environment. The machine is controlled by PLC. Material is fed into fluid bed through negative pressure or by blowing.
Top spraying system
Top spraying device consists of a conical material hopper and spraying chamber. Air flows from the bottom of material hopper, through airflow distribution plate and screen and at last, into the machine. If the force generated by airflow is larger than material gravity, material can form a vortex, i.e., fluid bed.
1)Upward airflow pushes material to move upwards. And certain angle inside material hopper makes sure that material can be fluidized fluently in the hopper.
2)Being pushed by airflow, material enters spraying chamber. Spraying chamber is larger than material hopper so that air flows more slowly in the chamber. As a result, material’s speed decreases. Gradually, material gravity become larger than the force generated by airflow, and material drops back to the edge of material hopper. In the whole production process, material moves and recycles up and down between material hopper and spraying chamber and form irregular fluid state.
3)The goal of granulation is to produce dust-free and flowable granules with fine powder. Coating refers to coat fine and uniform granules.
4)During granulation by the top spraying device, powder or particle rises from the bottom of material hopper and becomes fluidized, while adhesive is sprayed into the fluid bed by a spraying gun and then helps granulation. Besides, heat exchange occurs between hot airflow and heated airflow distribution plate, which functions to dry material.
5)Being raised by air, material particles are absolutely exposed into airflow for the best atomizing and drying.
6)If material can be dried, the top spraying device can become a fluid-bed drier after spraying gun is removed.
Product Description
FG (fluid bed drying machine), FL (fluid bed granulating and drying machine (top spray)), FLB (fluid bed coating and drying machine (bottom spray)) and WFB (fluid bed pelletizing and drying machine (tangential spray), all consists of bag shaking chamber, drying and spreading chamber, material chamber, air intake chamber, support frame, auxiliary heating system, ventilator unit and control system.
They're mainly used to granulate and dry granules in pharmaceutical, foodstuff, chemical, agricultural and sideline product processing industries. Such as granules for tablet, instant powder and condiment granules. The process of feeding and discharging material of this equipment should be finished in the airtight space to avoid powder spreading to the operation environment. It‘s controlled by PLC to granulate and dry in fluid bed.
Working Principle
The air flow sucked by the negative pressure of induced draught fan will pass through the air filter, heat exchanger and delivery conduit, finally enter the fluid bed granulating room from the airflow distribution board to blast the raw powder (such as original powder, Polybutene, absorbent, western medicine or food etc.) into boiling fluidized state and start mixing at the same time.
Liquid material and the compressed air for atomizing liquid material enter the sprayer along their respective pipes. The compressed air atomizes the liquid material into fine particles to spray in the fluid bed granulating room, and then mix with raw powder to bond into granules. At the same time, the granules will be dried by hot air and a part of powder rises to the filter bag to be collected. At a certain time, the left exhaust valve closes and the filter bag in left chamber shakes up and down under the action of air cylinder; the powder being shaken off then falls back to the fluid bed to granulate again. After shaking, the left exhaust valve opens again; after a while, the right exhaust valve closes and the filter bag in right chamber shakes.
The filter bags in both chambers shake alternatively to clean the collected powder to keep the filter bag unblocked and finish the process of mixing, drying and granulating.
Advantages
1. Equipment Height
It's higher than normal ones, the cloth bag not easy to be wet and blocked. Materials can be dried completely, drying speed is high, energy consuption is low.
2. Distribution Net
The distribution net between air intake chamber and material chamber are multi-layer, which is rigid, high temperature resistant and not easy to be deformed. Quick installation, quick dismantlement and easy to be cleaned.
The conventional ones have only two layers, a thin piece of stainless steel wire net on a punched plate. Hard to be cleaned, easily broken and transformable. Materials can not dried completely and homogeneously.
3. The insulating layer thickness of the heating cabinet
Insulating layer of the heating cabinet is added to anti-scald and reduce energy consumption. In addition, openable doors adopted, convenient for changing accessories, cleaning and maintenance.
4. Air inlet proportion execution valve and air outlet pneumatic execution valve
These two valves equiped, bag shaking system can be closed tightly to get a good dedusting effect.
5. Steam proportion valve is equipped
Temperature can be kept around the set value (about ±2°C), which is good for maintaining the medical stability and saving steam energy. Only 1/3 energy consumption when the set temperature reached.
6. Pressure relief device - the top relief valve
The fluidized bed chamber is in a state of negative pressure normal production, if it is in positive state then pressure will be relieved from the pressure relief port to avoid explosion and other unexpected accidents.
7. Bag shaking device
The bag shaking device is divided into two parts, left and right ones with many small cloth bags, and with continuously shaking and dedusting function.
The more cloth bags are designed, the larger area can be used for filter and dry, high efficiency, fast speed, time and energy saved. While, normal machine only has a one-piece shaking bag without any small bags. Bags can be shook only after the machine stops. Low efficiency, slow drying speed, long time and large energy wasted. Besides, our bag shaking device has a pneumatic location device to fix and protect bags for better dust removal effect. And the bottom of the device extends to the outside of the chamber to guarantee practicality. Some other factories’ apply gas seal at the device bottom, but after a long time of high temperature operation, the chamber will transform and sealing will not be tight any more. Therefore, material will be run off and great loss will be caused.
8. Observation light is installed in the chamber
Compared with other manufacturers, it is in the outside, the operation and drying conditions inside the chamber cannot be observed clearly.
9. Moreover, according to different countries geographically location (in humidity) and different environmental requirements,
dehumidification and second dust removal system can be adopted to achieve their requirements of material, techniques and environment protection.
