Three-dimensional (3D) mixer adopts mechanical force and gravity to uniformly mix two or more kinds of powdery material. It can make the mixture uniform, increase contact area of material to promote chemical reactions, as well as speed up physical change. For example, granular solutes can dissolve in solvent more quickly under the force of mixing machine.
1.Application
Three-dimensional mixer is widely applied to dry and mix dry mortar, chemicals, pesticide, detergent, pigment, foods, MSG, milk powder, salt, fodder, , ceramics, plastics, rubber additive and some other powdery material.
2.Performance
Mixing requires all material to be distributed uniformly. From perspective of mixing degree, mixing can be graded into ideal mixing, random mixing and no mixing, determined by material’s proportion, chemical status and properties, mixing machine and mixing time...
3.Classification
Common dry powder mixers are: plough mixer, ribbon mixer, intensive mixer, double shaft mixer and Nauta mixer...
4.Maintenance
1)Installation: level machine and install machine seat for the machine’s normal working;
2)Lubricate the machine and let it work without material; check fastening parts, electrical parts and its working situation. For any abnormality, maintain and debug the machine;
3)Turn the feeding port upwards, open its cover and feed material. Material amount cannot exceed specified volume. Then close the cover and start the machine. For any abnormality, stop to have a check;
4)After a shift or changing products, clean hopper thoroughly.
5.Evaluation
1)Uniformity: an index to evaluate mixture. Mixture uniformity depends on mixer type. Therefore, analysis to the mixture can help us evaluate machines;
2)Dead corner percentage: an index to evaluate mixing. At dead corners, material cannot be completely mixed.
Mixing time: an index to evaluate mixing speed. It refers to the time needed by the machine to completely mix material. It is also determined by machine type and model.
