Introduction

Working principle

The process consists of two programs including mixing and granulating.

Powder metrical can be charged into the material pan from the conical hopper and continue to rotate in the container under the action of mixing blade once the hoper is closed. In the meanwhile, all materials grow up the shape of liquid bridge under continuous effects of conical wall. Under the action of extrusion, friction as well as crumb by blade and conical tank wall, all material is gradually turn for loosen. At last , while opening the hoper outlet, waterish particles are pushed off under the centrifugal effects of blade.

These soft particles are formed not dependent on forced extrusion effects, more exactly; mainly these small and uniform particles are formed after continuous cutting under the simile-liquid state. in all, this machine can realize the mutual transformation between different materials.

CHARACTERS

1.With consistent programmed technology ( man-machine interface if option selected ) , the machine can get assured of stability in quality, as well as easy manual operation for convenience of technological parameter and flow progress.

6.Lifting system with paddle is more beneficial to clean paddles and pot body.

SZ Series Wet Type Pelletizer

SZ series of wet type pelletizer is mainly used in pharmaceutical, food and fine chemicals processing industries, a kind of wet processing equipment to palletize material, which can link with other devices, in accordance with GMP requirements. The whole machine is made by stainless steel.

Working principle: after the raw material to be processed entering the feeding inlet of wet type pelletizer, they will fall into the cone-shaped working chamber. Then the raw material will form to swirling flow under the function of flying cutters and be pushed toward the screen net surface by centrifugal force. As the high-speed revolution of flying cutters can take shearing action with screen net surface, the material will be smashed into small granules between the flying cutters and screen, and then discharged through screen mesh. The size of smashed granules can be adjusted by the screen meshes, the gap between flying cutter and screen and the revolution speed of flying cutters.

There are two discharging methods as below:

A. Direct connection (the discharge port of wet type pelletizer and the feed inlet of fluid bed granulating / drying machine are connected directly by a delivery hsoe).

B. Direct drop (the wet materials after pelletzing drop into the storage container or the hopper of fluid bed granulating / drying machine).

A. Direct connection for granules discharging

Install a discharging device under the barrel of wet type pelletizer and connect its discharge port with a delivery hose. Under the negative pressure in fluidization cavity of fluid bed granulating / drying machine, the wet granules enter into the fluid bed directly through the delivery hose for drying. (With the suction type pneumatic force to convey the material)

The advantages of A discharging method: the materials during the whole process from granulating to drying are in an airtight system, which is a real sense of super-clean production (SCP) mode.

B. Direct drop for granules discharging

Place a container under the barrel of wet type pelletizer, which can be the hopper of fluid bed granulating / drying machine. The wet granules after pelletizing fall into the container directly and then be transmitted to drying machine or drying cabinet to be dried.

The advantages of B discharging method: more flexible for the coordination of the whole granulating system, in favor of improving the rate of granulating equipment utilization.

1. Application

Fluid-bed processing is mainly used for the mixing of powder material, drying and granulating (coating) in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, agricultural and sideline product processing industries, such as tablet, instant powder and condiment granules. The process of feeding and discharging material for this equipment should be finished in the airtight space to avoid powder spreading to the working environment. It‘s controlled by PLC. For wet type granulating machine, it adopts negative pressure or air blast to make the finished granules enter the fluid bed for drying in airtight way.

2.Brief introduction for top spray system

It consists of a cone-shaped material trough and diffusion (spraying) chamber. The processing airflow passes through the airflow distribution board and screen net from the trough bottom to enter this equipment. When the flow rate of inlet air overcomes its gravitational force, the material in trough can form eddy flow to move (fluid bed).

1.The inlet airflow from the bottom up will push the material in the trough to move upward. As with a certain angle of the trough, the aggregative fluidization of the material in it is very intense.

2.The material pushed by the airflow, enters into the diffusion chamber. As the space of diffusion chamber is larger than that of trough, the air flow velocity in chamber will be lower than in trough and the speed of material granules in chamber will decrease. When the gravity force of granule itself overcomes the pushing force of inlet airflow from the bottom up, it will fall down and return to the edge area of trough. In the whole process, the granules will move back and forth between diffusion chamber and trough to form irregular fluidization.

3.The aim of granulating machine is using fine powder to produce dust-free and flexible granules. Coating refers to coat for those finished fine and uniform granules.

4.When granulating and coating with top spray device of fluid bed, the powder or granules rise from the trough bottom in fluidized state; the adhesive or coating liquid is sprayed to the fluid bed by the nozzle of spray gun installed in the diffusion (spraying) chamber to granulate or coat the material. Via the thermal current entering from bottom and heated airflow distribution board to do heat exchange, the material will be dried.

5.In the phase of material being blown by air, the surface of each granule will be fully showed in the airflow so that it can achieve the best atomizing spray medium and drying result.

6.The top spray technique is suitable for drying process. Dismount the spray gun in diffusion (spraying) chamber, the top spray device turns to be a fluid bed drier.
