INQUIRY

1. Overview
This machine can size material and make them obtain uniform size in high speed. It is of wide application to process material of variable specification after either wet granulation or dry granulation in foodstuff, pharmacy and chemical industry.

2. Features

3. Operation principle
Materials to be processed enter the cone operation chamber through the material inlet port of the machine. Then rotating knife will make raw materials turn around and flow and will throw granules to the sieve under the centrifugal force. At the same time, the rotating knife rotate in a high speed to produce a shearing force together with the sieve. As a result, granules will be broken into small particles between the rotating knife and sieve and output through the sieve holes. The size of particles depends on the sieve mesh quantity, the gap between rotating knife and sieve and the rotating speed.

Two methods of material output of wet sieving and milling are as follows:
1) Horizontal: The material output port of sieving and milling machine is connected directly with the material input port of fluidized bed granulator or drier through a delivery pipe.
2) Vertical: Wet granules drop into the material storage container or the hopper of fluidized bed granulator or drier.
A. Horizontal material output
A horizontal material output device is installed under the drum of wet sieving and milling machine. A delivery pipe is connected with the material output port of the device. Under the force of negative pressure in the fluidization chamber of fluidized bed granulator/drier, wet granules enter the fluidized bed through the pipe to be dried. (Materials are delivered through suction pneumatic conveying.)
Its advantage is that materials are still in an enclosed system throughout the whole process from wet granulation to drying, which is the SCP mode in the true sense.
B. Vertical material output
Another container (which can be the hopper of fluidized bed granulator/drier) is put under the drum of wet sieving and milling machine. Wet granules drop into the container directly after wet sieving and milling and are then delivered into drying machine or box to be dried.
Its advantage is that it is flexible to coordinate the production of the whole granulation system, which will be helpful to improve the equipment utilization of the wet granulator.
